Work with a stick - strikes, take-downs, defense

Ex 1: Wrestling with the stick in-between. As partners wrestle on the floor, they consciously use the stick or put it in between them. One partner should focus on holding the stick at all times. Observe how the stick is tying up the hand or hands it's in unless it is used effectively.

Warm-up

Ex 1: Walk around the gym, then run around the gym on increasing count of steps per each breath, with acceleration by relaxation, both back and face forward (at the end, run as fast as you can for one or two minutes at the same rate).

Ex 2: Stand in a push-up position and with your legs behind your head for one minute each.
